Walking the GreenPath® at Hamburg Gaming

Hamburg Gaming and Delaware North are committed to responsible and sustainable stewardship of the environment. GreenPath® is Delaware North's award-winning Environmental Management System, and has been in place at Hamburg Gaming since 2009.

A Highlight of our Achievements:

  • Battery Recycling: Hamburg Gaming has instituted an internal system to recycle single-use alkaline batteries. In 2015 we recycled 208 lbs. of batteries, exceeding our expected goal of 100 lbs.
  • Fryer Oil Use Reduction: In 2013, Hamburg Gaming implemented a third-party service to filter our fryer oil, thereby extending its life, using less oil, and sending less to our recycler. We used 52% less fryer oil in 2015 compared to 2013, exceeding our reduction by 13,500 lbs.

  • Electronic Waste Recycling: Hamburg Gaming has partnered electronics recycler SunnKing for the 6th year. The event is open to the public. In 2017, Hamburg Gaming collected and diverted 39,632 lbs. of E-Waste from the waste stream.
